WHAT IS PRAYER AWAKENING?
Prayer Awakening: 30 Days of Returning to the Secret Place is a 30-day prayer journey created by Wonder Model Woman for women who desire to deepen their relationship with God, restore their prayer lives and develop a stronger rhythm of communion with Him.
From September 1–30, 2026, women will intentionally set aside 30 minutes every morning from 5:00–5:30 AM SAST to come together for biblical teaching, focused prayer, personal response, corporate prayer and intercession.
The purpose is not simply to help women pray more often.
The purpose is to help women return to the place of meeting with God.
Prayer Awakening is built around the conviction that prayer should not be something we remember only when we have a crisis. It is not merely a way of presenting our needs to God. Prayer is communion. Prayer is relationship. Prayer is where we learn to seek God’s face, hear His Word, surrender our hearts, receive direction, intercede for others and become more conscious of His presence.
For thirty mornings, we will intentionally create that space.
WHY WAS PRAYER AWAKENING CREATED?
Prayer Awakening was created because many women genuinely love God but find themselves struggling to maintain a consistent prayer life.
Life can become demanding.
There are careers to build, businesses to manage, studies to complete, families to care for, ministries to serve, relationships to navigate and personal decisions to make.
In the middle of all of this, time with God can gradually become secondary.
Prayer Awakening creates a deliberate opportunity to put God first again.
The campaign is designed to help women stop merely talking about having a deeper prayer life and actually establish a practical rhythm of seeking God.
It is a journey of returning.
Returning to prayer.
Returning to Scripture.
Returning to stillness.
Returning to communion.
Returning to intercession.
Returning to the secret place.
WHY THIRTY DAYS?
Thirty days gives women enough time to intentionally establish a rhythm without making the campaign feel like an indefinite commitment.
The thirty days are also deliberately structured as a spiritual journey.
We do not simply repeat the same theme every morning.
The journey progresses.
It begins with the woman herself.
Then it moves into deeper communion with God.
From there, it develops into spiritual understanding and confidence in Christ.
Then the woman begins looking beyond herself and becomes more intentional about intercession for others.
Finally, the journey ends by asking what happens after the thirty days are over.
The goal is not to finish September and stop praying.
The goal is to finish September with a prayer life that has been awakened and strengthened for what comes next.
WHAT WILL A WOMAN ACTUALLY DO DURING THE 30 DAYS?
She will not simply receive information.
She will participate.
Every morning, she will join the gathering at 5:00 AM SAST.
She will hear the day’s Scripture and receive a short biblical exhortation from Elizabeth.
She will then be given a clear prayer direction.
She will have an opportunity to pray personally.
The gathering will move into corporate prayer and intercession.
There will be declarations and a final focused prayer.
The entire gathering concludes at approximately 5:30 AM.
So the woman is not committing to a one-hour sermon every morning.
She is giving God thirty intentional minutes.
Thirty minutes to stop.
Thirty minutes to seek.
Thirty minutes to pray.
Thirty minutes to listen.
Thirty minutes to realign her heart before entering the rest of her day.
WHAT IS THE MAIN GOAL?
The main goal is not attendance.
It is not to see how many mornings a woman can successfully join an online meeting.
It is not to create another Christian programme that becomes exciting for thirty days and then disappears.
The deeper goal is transformation through communion with God.
We want women to rediscover prayer as a lifestyle.
We want them to become more intentional about their secret place.
We want them to develop greater spiritual sensitivity.
We want their hunger for God’s presence to increase.
We want them to learn how to pray Scripture.
We want them to become more confident approaching God through Christ.
We want them to learn to persevere when answers are delayed.
We want them to discover the joy of intercession.
And ultimately, we want women to move from:
“I need someone to pray for me”
to:
“I have learned to meet God in prayer.”
Women Gathered. Women Awakened.
A 30-day journey for women to return to the secret place, rekindle their prayer lives, and seek God together.
A sacred journey where women come together in prayer, grow deeper in their walk with God, and rediscover the power of the secret place.
WHAT DOES "RETURNING TO THE SECRET PLACE" MEAN?
The secret place represents that personal space of communion between a woman and God.
It is the place where she can step away from the noise and intentionally give God her attention.
Jesus spoke about this in Matthew 6:6 when He taught His disciples to enter their private place, shut the door and pray to the Father.
Prayer Awakening takes that principle and turns it into a 30-day intentional journey.
Every morning, women will have an opportunity to step away from the demands of the day and begin by seeking God.
The secret place does not have to be a particular room.
It does not require a special building.
It does not require elaborate equipment.
It can be a bedroom.
A quiet corner.
A study.
A living room.
A place where a woman can sit with her Bible, focus her heart and pray.
The important thing is not the location.
It is the intentionality.
WHAT MAKES PRAYER AWAKENING DIFFERENT?
Prayer Awakening is not designed as a 30-day online Bible teaching programme where women spend most of the time listening to someone speak.
Prayer is the central activity.
Each morning begins with a short biblical exhortation that introduces the day’s theme and gives women a biblical foundation for prayer.
Elizabeth will then transition the gathering into focused prayer.
Women will receive clear prayer directions so that they know what they are praying about and why.
There will be opportunities for personal prayer, corporate prayer, intercession and declarations.
The teaching provides the direction.
The Scripture provides the foundation.
But prayer remains the heart of the gathering.
This is why the guiding principle of Prayer Awakening is:
The teaching introduces the altar. It must never replace the altar.
We are not gathering for thirty days simply to hear someone talk about prayer.
We are coming to pray.
WHO IS PRAYER AWAKENING FOR?
Prayer Awakening is intentionally designed for every woman.
There is no requirement that she be married.
There is no requirement that she be a mother.
There is no requirement that she work in ministry.
There is no requirement that she be a church leader.
There is no requirement that she already have a strong prayer life.
The woman may be single or married.
She may be a mother or not a mother.
She may be young or older.
She may be studying.
She may be working.
She may be building a business.
She may be raising a family.
She may be serving in ministry.
She may be in a season of transition.
She may be spiritually hungry.
She may be spiritually tired.
She may simply know that she wants to become closer to God.
She belongs in this journey.
THE ULTIMATE OUTCOME
Prayer Awakening is not about producing women who can simply say they completed thirty days of prayer.
It is about awakening something that continues.
When September 30 arrives, the question should not be:
“What programme do I join next?”
The question should be:
“What will my prayer life look like now?”
If a woman finishes the thirty days with a greater desire to seek God in the morning, if she has rediscovered the value of Scripture and communion, if she has learned to pray beyond her immediate needs, if she has developed a heart for intercession and if she has begun establishing her own rhythm in the secret place, then Prayer Awakening has accomplished what it was created to accomplish.
Because the greatest testimony will not be:
“I completed the 30 days.”
It will be:
“MY ALTAR IS BURNING AGAIN.”
THE INVITATION
Prayer Awakening is an invitation to stop postponing your secret place.
You do not need to wait until your life becomes less busy.
You do not need to wait until everything is perfect.
You do not need to wait until you feel spiritually strong.
You can begin where you are.
